Victim Identified in Fatal Manchester Apartment Building Fire
Manchester – New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Manchester Fire Chief Andre Parent and Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg announce that the victim of the fire at 10 Dutton St. in Manchester on November 6, 2021, has been identified.
The NH Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 59 year old Kathryn Conn of Manchester. The cause of her death is smoke inhalation and the manner of her death is accidental.
The investigation into the Origin & Cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Manchester Fire and Police Departments.
State Fire Marshal Toomey wishes to remind all citizens of the importance of always having working smoke alarms inside and outside of all sleeping areas. When a fire is detected by smoke alarms, occupants only have seconds to escape before being overcome by the effects of smoke.
