Positive Identification Made in the Manchester RV Fire
Manchester – New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Manchester Fire Chief Andre Parent and Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg announce that the identification of the fire victim discovered in the RV at 45 High St. in Manchester on December 19, 2021, has been determined.
Following the autopsy conducted on December 20, 2021, the Office of the Medical Examiner has positively identified the fire victim as 34-year-old Chandel Vanenburg, who was believed to be homeless at the time of her death. The cause of death was determined to be smoke inhalation and the manner of death is pending further investigation.
