Victim Identified in Somersworth Fire

SOMERSWORTH, New Hampshire – New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Somersworth Fire Chief Matt Moore and Somersworth Police Chief Timothy McLin announce that the victim located at the fire scene at 79 Crystal Springs Way in Somersworth on September 20, 2024, has been identified.    

The NH Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 63-year-old Kevin Shea of Somersworth and has ruled that the cause of his death was not related to the fire.  
 
The investigation into the origin & cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Somersworth Fire and Police Departments.  Please direct all future inquiries to Chief McLin of the Somersworth Police Department.  

No further information will be released at this time.
